Am i using Sync wrong? If i see a federated post, i can't get to the insance home or see the other communities on the instance - Lemmy.world

Titleโ€ฆ [email protected] [/c/[email protected]] popped on my feed, and I visited the c, only I wanted to see the other communities on the instance. There doesnโ€™t appear to be any way to do this. Am I wrong?

You will have a lot of problems with other instances, given you are in LW which blocks a lot of communities and is defederated from many many instances

Nope the button does nothing - if I disagree with something I either comment, scroll past or block. We canโ€™t send or receive federated downvotes either.

I was specifically asking about ommunities. As in still federating with the insurance with selected few communities manually blocked. Like lemmy.world did when banking the piracy ones. They didnโ€™t federate entire instances.
