Sebastian MalloyI would like to request a “hug” button on Mastodon that I can tap when someone posts something sad or emotionally delicate, for when there are no words and tapping a star seems like a weird thing to do.
Simon Brooke@sebastianmalloy Aye. There are lots of things I read that I do NOT want to 'like' or 'favourite' and don't particularly want to boost, but nevertheless want to be able to say to the poster 'you have been heard'.
It would not be difficult, either from a software or a UX point of view, to have a range of simple responses.
