Loved that shot of Trey being so aggressive with his pedals during that chaotic section. There were some stretches of 3.0 where I think messing with his equipment got in the way a bit. (Not even a huge criticism - that happens to everyone at times.)

But when he is dialed in like he is this summer he hears something in his head and then can make it happen effortlessly. #phish

And back to C major. #phish
This is kind of reminding me of the 8/19/12 Light which is enormous praise. #phish
I love it when either Trey or Fishman decide to be a rhythmic menace for a measure or two. Trey has been doing that a lot this summer - just creating absolute rhythmic chaos over a straight ahead groove for a few seconds and then right back like we all imagined it. #phish

Goddamn Trey/Mike/Fishman were all playing a dotted-quarter rhythm together that made the entire groove feel like it was careening forward.

And then the ->>>>>>>> into Simple weeeeeeeeeeeeeee #phish

I'm going to have to listen to the couple of minutes before Simple again because I'm almost positive it was in two different tonal centers simultaneously for a stretch. #phish
@drewphish that was so riveting, just great jamming!
