In Act 3, Iāve found a book in some tomb that pretty clearly spells out who Withers is, and Iām irritated that apparently my character canāt connect the dots.
Throw the book at him, doesnāt do anything but made me feel better.
I never read that book. The drop some heavy clues as to who he may be after the credits, but I still donāt know. Spoilers below:

He wasnāt in that tomb when I went there. I guess I waited too long. Supposedly he had been chilling in my camp for awhile and I just never noticed.
