Hey, Sauce. Chlamydia here
I block every new channel Simon makes. He basically reads a wiki article to you and makes bank. I want no part in his dozen channels.
I mean, ok. You do you. Curate all your feeds as you like best.
Simon’s videos are excellent. And the dude has like 6 different channels. His serial killer ones are fun as well (Casual Criminalist).
I love the Casual Criminalist. I really like how he just won’t read anything he thinks is gratuitous or salacious about how victims died.
I'm always so torn on him; he makes interesting videos about compelling topics that are reasonably well researched ... but as nitpicky as it is, I cannot deal with his accent for very long. I'm completely willing to believe it's actually genuine, but it sounds like an American doing a bad impression of a posh British lordling.
His accent might be a bit off-seeming because he lives abroad. I know my accent has picked up some quirks from friends from other countries, like I have no idea how to pronounce “scone” anymore, and a Kiwi friend once had a minor existential crisis after she said “basil” like an American.
Aboard what?
Ahh, autocorrect and trying to type before getting out of bed. 🤣
