@passenger @ajswritesthings @bookstodon @Behindthepages “…half a centimeter…” left. This had me laughing because that was exactly me with a very slim book, 1 cm thick, yet it was jammed with the knowledge that their love was doomed.

@Behindthepages @bookstodon yes! The first time I was fooled by an ebook into thinking there was more left than there was, it was gutting. I didn't realise that the percentage remaining was ads!
@Behindthepages I understand ebooks are good for some people (economics, accessibility), but they’re a no-go for me. I really don’t think I retain as much. Maybe I’d adjust, but I don’t want to.
