The Seven Voyages Of SteveI think it’s great that Apple is finally on board with right to repair. Now they just need to start incorporating repair into their product design as well. I’m sure they’re capable of it, it just takes the will to make it a deliverable. Repairable products that are so fiddly and awkward to actually repair without breaking them aren’t *really* repairable
Bare minimum is that all their phones should have battery and screen replacements that are trivial to do with standard tooling that any decent repair shop / keen amateur would have. If you can’t do that, you’re not taking repairability seriously.
