So #weirdcarmastodon is there a such thing as a vehicle capable of towing 5k lb's around 10k USD with somewhat okay fuel economy?

I want to say VW Toureg but I know if I get one of those and something major needs attention then I'll just have a parts car

@Tiezep Big FWD CUVs usually can tow that much.

GM Lambdas (Acadia & the like) with the factory tow package, but reliability is very suspect.

Honda Pilot can do 5K and image so can the Toyota Highlander. Early 2000s Pilots have fragile trans, though.
