cerevantUse an app - Memmy, Mlem, Voyager…too many choices to stick with the pretty weak web UI.
I can second Mlem, it’s open source and great! Had a bit of a rocky start with missing media features and bugs but the last few update have ironed out all my issues with it to the point where I dont even have to think about it and no longer am switching apps to get features I feel are missing.
I’ve tried all of those and recommend going with Thunder.
Seconded for Thunder. Unique UI that stands out among the rest. I also vote newcomers Avelon and Arctic simply because they can embed videos and gifs without having to open the in-app browser, which is still rare with lemmy apps.

halcyoncmdrSeveral different alternate web UIs are pre-installed on lemmy.world. You aren’t limites to the default lemmy web UI and don’t need an app if that’s the only reason you’re using one.
