I remember learning that when the Colonizers came to the Americas and started spreading Christianity, some Natives said: (paraphrased) “If your heaven is filled with people as evil as you, I’d rather go to hell”
Another great one is, again paraphrasing, “If I wouldn’t go to hell if I didn’t know about Jesus, why would you tell me?”
