Transportation I've seen used are SUV with a pad eye bolted to the floor they run a short chain from the handcuffs and waist yoke through. It imobilizes the prisoner and is safer than trying to remove the prisoner from the cage without. (side drop) Trump would not like that. Uncomfortable but necessary for dangerous criminals.
