Htaggert@w7voa @NerdRage42 agreed. We had a woman who used to stand at a traffic intersection in a wedding dress, waving a Trump flag and shouting at us all. I felt her mental health may not be good. A few months ago, it stopped… which surprised me… hopefully she is doing better..
@Htaggert @w7voa yeah. I work with a very vulnerable group and there's a weird disconnect for Trump supporters in that area. There are some folks who truly think "oh, he couldn't possibly mean me?" as he denigrates exactly people like them. One guy who was constantly buying those scam "officially minted Trump coins" that he was going to give to his daughter when he died because they were going to be worth a lot of money. But also his daughter no longer wanted to speak to him. Which he blamed on all the Dems in our state and Biden who he claimed had kidnapped her and brainwashed her.
And honestly...it's kinda sad. I felt pitty for this guy. He was so easily scammed by Trump because he and his kind know exactly how to turn his supporters into "the true victims here".
