Two years after Valérie Plante’s administration said a new housing bylaw would lead to the construction of 600 new social housing units per year, the city hasn’t seen a single one. The Bylaw for a Diverse Metropolis forces developers to include social, family and, in some places, affordable housing units to any new projects larger than 4,843 square feet. If they don’t, they must pay a fine or hand over land, buildings or individual units for the city to turn into affordable or social housing.

Then quite frankly, you all need to band together and either take back control of the old government or form a new one, and seize the housing to be fairly distributed in the manner you want. You’re not going to fix the problem any other way.

band together is just impossible now, they learn from french revolution so well. Make sure average joe will be out on the street if they cant receive their next wage, and what you can do against government who owns all the firearms, your whole data about you and your family so you can easily blackmailed while you marching with empty stomach without place to sleep ?

Banding together is the only way you’re going to be able to mitigate those problems though. Rebels can sleep in the basements and attics of supporters. Steal weapons from cops. Steal and cook food for each other. Steal money and buy them at gun stores or gun shows. Ignore any compromising data or accusations put out against rebels.

This is a REBELLION we’re talking about. If you want any positive change at this point, you have to do it, and that means you need to put aside any compunctions, fears or anxieties you may have now. It’s either that or the rest of the world watches in horror as the right wing takes over your government completely and kills you all. Is that what you want?
