Former Republican FCC Chairman Al Sikes joins us in asking the FCC to scrutinize Murdoch/Fox TV licenses.

“The FCC must designate for a hearing the application of the Murdochs and Fox for renewal of their license to operate WTXF, Philadelphia.”

As an FCC broadcast licensee, FOX and its subsidiary broadcast stations, have a basic statutory duty to conduct those operations in the public interest.

We saw Tucker Carlson pushed out at Fox and replaced.

The problem is not just the hosts — it’s the owners. Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch own Fox News and FCC-regulated broadcast TV stations.

FCC License Modernization

In the past few weeks a number of ex-FCC commissioners have come out in support of our petition: Duggan, Sikes, and Reed Hundt have all urged the FCC act. The first step is simple — to hold a hearing. It is the least the @FCC can do.

Both Republican and Democratic commissioners and other FCC experts have spoken out. The FCC cannot ignore them and must act.
