If you think saying you shouldn’t murder criminals is apologism for crime then you’re more interested in vengeance than justice. There’s times when self defense would require it but this should not be the default.
If you think a rape victim’s unilateral right to guarantee their safety, liberty and happiness is supporting vengeance over justice, then I’ll take it. No one who respects human rights will respect a paradigm that protects rapists while ignoring the reality of the situation and prioritizing the status quo over human lives.

If it is necessary to end an immediate threat, then it’s okay. If you hunt someone down later that’s the vengeance and retribution I’m referring to.

Plenty of stories have explored this issue with revenge, recently it was The Last of Us 2 and I thought they did a pretty good job of showing what you do to yourself when you give into violent revenge fantasies.

My guy, if you’re going to use alts to win a argument, the key is to not make it look obvious. You need to not use cookie cutter arguments and you certainly need to change around the type of reasoning you give, and use different examples in each account, so no one suspects anything.
