Also the explanations given aren’t quite surprising, I guess it’s mostly because of iMessage. Teens will feel like outcasts if they get an Android phone while their friends still use iMessage because of the green bubbles [https://technology.inquirer.net/121775/why-green-imessage-bubbles-are-a-no-no-for-us-teens]. Yeah that still depends on the instance in which posts came from, but on c/Android it’s already a lot less US centric than r/Android was imo.
