Just saw an energy rating in kWh/1000h and I am so pissed off
It's genuinely made me a little angry.
I'm so glad that others are frustrated too.
@diffractie I don’t think that’s not the worst unit I ever heard of
@diffractie I'm old enough to remember when a good lightbulb could be rated a whopping 100 kWh/1000h
@diffractie I get mildly infuriated everytime I see this one
I mean if you absolulety MUST overcomplicate things, at least make it funny by adding weird units into the mix, kWh/1000h is just lazy
@diffractie have seen these and don't get it

I had a similar reaction to this a while back.

Clicked on an ad for a 7kW wind turbine. Landing page includes this proud boast. "With its new generator, it can generate up to 7 kWh of electricity per hour." kWh/h. That's just kW.

@diffractie During my very brief stint working for an internet ad broker I learned that the "cpm_micros" was an actual unit. For reference CPM here is "cost per thousand" using the M of roman numerals. So a bid win in openrtb includes a price that is cost per impression, meaused in thousandths of a dollar, but given as cost per thousand impressions measured in thousandths of a dollar. (All using floats instead of fixed point.)
