@duhshark If you’re still looking to game, my gut is that it might not be worth it. It *does* depend on what kind of games you play, though. It’s a reasonably capable machine for gaming, especially if you’re in the Pro range. But, there are definitely games it can’t play, or which require a beefier graphics card to run, that you’re just not going to be able to get.
I think it’s a great everyday/programming machine. Just not so amazing for gaming.
@makuus Right now? I am just playing Cyberpunk, Destiny 2 and Baldurs gate 3, as the extreme end of things.
Laptop I have should be able to run Destiny 2 on its own but I think something inside is dying simply because after updating the drivers it can barely handle it on Low settings. Granted it is also several years old 'gtx 1060ti was the top of the line at the time in gaming laptops.' I mean worst case scenario I could just steam link and game that way, I just need something that's not the brick of a Dell I have right now.
Trying to weigh my options and get a decent bang for my buck and some overall nice longevity.
