CrinklesharkIs it worth getting a MacBook? I honestly know nothing about them outside of the obvious, but I keep hearing about how reliable and long-lasting they can be. I need to get a new, lighter laptop, preferably one I can still game on.
Makuus@duhshark If you’re still looking to game, my gut is that it might not be worth it. It *does* depend on what kind of games you play, though. It’s a reasonably capable machine for gaming, especially if you’re in the Pro range. But, there are definitely games it can’t play, or which require a beefier graphics card to run, that you’re just not going to be able to get.
I think it’s a great everyday/programming machine. Just not so amazing for gaming.
