August 19 is the anniversary of the 1953 overthrow by Republican President Ike Eisenhower of the legitimate government of Iran, and it is worth reflecting today on how the GOP used the same repertoires of dirty tricks in an attempt to overthrow the US government on Jan. 6, 2021.
