Star Trek: #StrangeNewWorlds continues to be one of the best #StarTrek series to come along. It has been a welcome change amongst other attempts that had no idea what the core tenants of Gene Roddenberry's original series were.

The season two finale is on a level not seen since Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, Best of Both Worlds, Part 1. Highly recommended if you're not watching already.

Fantastic television!

@bobstarr
totally agree! I've disliked all the new series except this one, and Lower Decks, bc they just didn't have the heart or joy and cameraderie that I loved about Star Trek. They all went so dark. Still haven't seen season two.
@JoBlakely Very much agree with you. You'll enjoy season two, it does a great job building off the first season. I enjoyed the Lower Decks cross-over episode with SNW but don't watch LD (I lived through Fox's "Animation Domination" era and still burned out on animated shows).
@bobstarr Lower Decks may have become my favorite Star Trek of all. Though I've not watched much animation, I was wary...but it's really great. They let loose and bring such a family feeling. Which is what I love about The Orville. The Orville got Star Trek better than most of the other new series.
@JoBlakely The Orville was another one I never got into but friends told me it was doing Star Trek better than core ST was doing at the time. It clearly understood those foundational Roddenberry elements that makes the universe so unique among other shows.
@bobstarr @JoBlakely Emphatically agree. Both ST:SNW and The Orville are fantastic “original Trek” type shows. Kudos to both productions.
Core tenants? How much rent were they paying?
