And now the long task of deleting 30k tweets.
I missed the window of opportunity before the API changes to do mass deletes. Ah well, people asked me not to delete, and I feel good about honoring that request at the time given what I knew.
So I can delete 50 per day through the API and maybe 1000 per day through the UI? Some interesting puppeteer scripts that seem to work for that, though I've been getting rate limited quicker than expected.
It's okay, I'm patient.

@pderaaij ah yeah I encountered this while building my archive last night. Thanks for the explanation! Thankfully, I was able to restore missing media from my backup from September.
The other weird thing is I think there's still a shell of a tweet remaining for each media post. So even if the media's gone, I still have a record to remove.
Interesting to see people doing what you have done.
My timeline does not deserve that effort, but it is important to remember that as platform user, you just have the usufruct, you don't own a shit
