A popular earthquake alerting service in Japan called NERV has announced that they're leaving Twitter due to API pricing.

Going forward, they will continue to publish alerts through their mobile app & their #fediverse account.

Many people in Japan depend on the NERV service for earthquake alerts. Unfortunately, they'll no longer be able to receive them on X.
