@Popehat "Why Fani Willis Isn't Trying To Criminalize Phone Calls or Tweets..."
This is like if the NRA tried to argue "armed robbery" was trying to criminalize using guns.
... Now that I say that, that's probably something they would do.
@Popehat to presume trumpers and anti-anti-trumpers even regard rule of law is a sight naive, tbf.
They're not operating by same rules. Hell, the only rule they follow is "we get our way".
So... eh.
@Popehat I always have to be on the lookout for my desire for vengeance on these trumpist gop hacks and their paid goons. Vengeance is how the fascists and authoritarians pull folks into their orbits, every time.
Even knowing that, I have to admit I am having a hard time controlling my anger, having seen the video just this morning of Trump's goon Trevian Kutti attempting to put the screws to Ruby Freeman.
I do not give a f who Trevian Kutti is, or how Trump trawled her out of the R Kelly cesspool to come and do similar dirty work for him. But the fact that Trump has likely spent a lifetime employing people and tactics like this, against real human beings, is making me stupid-angry and thirsty for vengeful justice on the man.
Your articles remind me that prosecutors are often not much better, and that helps; but jfc, I sincerely need to step away from the news rn.
