@dralgaegirl heya-- I stupidly posted this Q and then immediately left the country on fieldwork and didn't look back. Thanks for the suggestion, that's a great example. This is for an undergrad Intro course, and I want to give them examples and maybe a reading or two, that illustrate different types of 'data' that have been used to understand environmental change. Both qualitative and quantitative.
