In April 2018 there was a national outcry, two Black men -- Donte Robinson and Rashon Nelson -- were arrested while waiting for a business meeting after an employee called 911 and accused the men of trespassing after they refused to make a purchase or leave the store.

Starbucks later fired the manager of that store. She sued for wrongful termination claiming she was fired for being white and has earned over $28 million from that lawsuit.

@carnage4life Just a small correction - she was the regional manager, not the store manager. The article says she claims she wasn't at that store on the day of the incident, but I don't know the full backstory.

The real lesson to me is that the two Black guys gave in too easily - they only got $400k in donations to a charity and should have held out for more.
