skryking@AstroKatie uhm... why does the signup page for your newsletter want my first name and birthdate? They weren't required fields but felt kind of unsafe to put that info out there in a pii sort of way.
@skryking First name is so the e-mail will arrive with “Hi FirstName,” and birthday is there so I can send a special birthday note. Both are of course optional!

Chris Ferdinandi@AstroKatie is there a way to disable the date picker? It’s not a good choice for birthdays because years go way back.
@AstroKatie just realized busy is optional. I’m guessing those are default friends from the newsletter provider.

JP@AstroKatie do you have an RSS feed for it? Any email address I use gets full of advertising eventually, so I tend to use RSS for stuff I care about!
