@animatronikki I love some of the characters in SB. this is soooo sweet <3

could you add alt text please? it's a personal policy of mine that I only boost things with alt text. if you'd prefer I do it, I'd be more than happy to- just ask ^^

@ator Thanks! I haven’t used that feature yet but let me give it a try? I’ll let you know when I get it working.
@animatronikki Oh, thanks! I'm sending two photos in case you couldn't find it. In the Mastodon web client, you can use this either when sending a post with media, or when editing an already-sent post - it works exactly the same way (:
@ator I think I've got it working? How's that look now?

@animatronikki That's great! Your alt text is really descriptive and perfectly communicates the message of the comic!

I'd say you don't *need* so much detail. In fact, some people just type the text, and that's absolutely fine if you're running low on energy. Anything in between that and this is good, and will help someone ^^

@ator Thank you! I'm about to step away from the computer for a bit, but later I'll try and put some alt text on my previous posts as well!
@animatronikki oh awesome! In my experience, adding alt text to media becomes satisfying over time and gives you almost a new perspective on your picture or art, by making you condense it down. Good luck!
@animatronikki This is awesome, comics hit different when they come from the soul.
@RisumTheFox Yeah, and I definitely reached way down into mine to find this one :)
@animatronikki I think art that comes from our earlier experiences often has that effect, it clicks those deep subconscious switches, your almost always does that.
@RisumTheFox In recent years I think about how prevalent the idea that trans people exist is nowadays. Kids are exposed to the idea that gender might not be exactly what it appears to be, and that that's okay. When I was growing up that idea was nowhere, and gender roles were heavily enforced, so I was 25 when I finally realized it. I'm haunted by thoughts of an alternate world where I found myself pre-puberty instead.
@animatronikki I actually did, and it wasn't as bad as it could have been, as a kid I knew who and what I was to the letter, but it was soon oppressed out of me and in time I was able to mistake the mask for my real face, and it kept me safe while I needed it, fortunately the world changed when I was about 16 and that allowed me to ask myself the right questions until I found myself again and no longer felt lost, now I just have to leave the south which I'm doing soon, I'm ill prepared but meh.
@RisumTheFox I admit, I'm jealous of how early you were able to discover yourself. Now obviously there is a -lot- going on in a person's life that determines how difficult a journey that can be, and by no means do I mean to dismiss the struggles you're facing! But I do wish I'd have had the tools to even begin understanding myself, or been able to take action, before over a quarter of my expected life was over.

@animatronikki trans rights and all but like idk would i trust random murder robot
