I'm learning to drink coffee black after years of only drinking it with heavy cream. I have put off going to the store this week for no other reason than laziness. Turns out its not too bad straight.

This is one of those nonsense posts that I've cringed at on social media since its inception. #NobodyCares

@decom Is it the bitterness that drives you to use heavy cream? I was never a milk / cream in my coffee guy until I discovered condensed milk in rocket-fuel level espresso.

@joe mostly its because i like the way it tastes. I never drank it black but i don't love sweetened drinks so would typically use powdered fake milk if i bought it at a c-store. Years ago I did atkins where they recommend heavy cream and it was SOOOO good. This generic Kirkland/Costco coffee tastes surprisingly good on its own but I could never drink that bitter, overroasted starbucks stuff straight.

Condensed would definitely be too sweet. I like my doubleshots with just a puff of whipped cream though.
