To stop the speculation and DM's I am receiving. I chose to quit my role at LTT because it, and the working environment I was facing, were ruining my mental health. The number of daily items the Social media role at the time was expected to fill was incredibly high.
@gamingonlinux I was actually one of the unsuccessful tryhards attempting to work there, but now that I've seen this, it's clear it transitioned to being about the bottom line as opposed to about community as soon as the corporate sponsors wanted more out of an influencer pool of talent.
This just screams we need leadership in better corporate environments, which is extremely hard to come by as basically all of tech is doubling down to a race to the bottom.
@gamingonlinux And unfortunately some influencers have made it their mission to call this out as a meme and 100% selfish junk.
Brandon Lee saw my paper resume in person when I handed it to the front door of LMG all those years ago. Yvonne called me personally because I handed the resume in person to tell me the bad news.
