When studying biology we were forced to draw plants and animals, non of us believed the lecturer then, but it really helps to carefully observe!
I'm not even good at it. But even ones that turn out as unrecognizable, out of proportion chicken scratches can take me back to that exact moment, when I was drawing the sounds, the temperature, the smell of the air, my mood, what else I had done that day...
