Yeah, people love to bitch about automod, until a neonazi troll shits all over the place when a very simple set of automod filters could have prevented anyone seeing it.
Flairs allow superior filtering, simple as that.
AA5BI wish they had flairs on Reddit too. That was one of the broken features in the Web UI, both old and new (at least for me)
