@Dr_Elizabeth97 @Popehat I'd ideally like to see him convicted and given two options: either live out the rest of his life in prison, or agree to the following terms in exchange for greatly reduced jail time: a. Never run for office again, and b. Receive comprehensive psychiatric and psychological treatment by qualified professionals who specialize in narcissistic personality disorder.

@hyloguy, my comment is a joke based on the song lyric @Popehat adapted. I will say that Trump is a poor candidate for mental health treatment. He is extremely unlikely to participate. I could be wrong and I hope to be wrong. If enough people would vote for him to put him back in office, we have a much bigger problem.

@Dr_Elizabeth97 @Popehat Oh yes, to be sure, the larger problem remains regardless of what happens to Trump. I would hope that maybe a few nascent grifters hoping to follow in Trump's footsteps might be detered by his punishment, but I know that's optimistic. I don't know what to do about the fact that millions of Americans still defend this guy and what he stands for.
