Brining my #TouchGrassKickBall thread over here. It’s about my journey in soccer and the team I started called Button City FC.

Today we’re in a tournament and it’s fun! While we still haven’t won we had a game with 9 goals! We have loan players for the team this tournament and they’re upping our game. On another note my toes have real bad blister from brand new cleats. I need to break them in but have to play again tomorrow! 😫 I’ll probably wear my old ones to finish the tournament.

Last day of the tournament we lost in fourth place with 0 wins but came out with the most goals our team ever has scored. Some good some bad learnings from the games and having skilled loan players. Also our team got its first yellow. My feet hurt and I’m still tired after my nap

Did our first practice for the season and it was tiring. Since our games will be full 90 minutes I had us just each move with a ball on a full 110 yard pitch for 45 minutes. 💀 We then did a small game for 25 minutes since there were only 4 of us. Sunday is our first game 🥲

Tomorrow we’re going up against the team I’m most excited to play against! They were the former worst team (we currently have that title) so we’ll be able to see how we measure up against them. I’m hoping we get our first win tomorrow! Let’s go Button City FC!
