SIgh, NPR this morning said Trump's lifelong corruption and attempt to overthrow a national election isn't "quite" equivalent to Hunter Biden's sleaze.

I suppose this is progress -- given that NPR has been the champion of false equivalence, "both sides" bullshit in American broadcasting.

At this rate, NPR will arrive at telling basic truths in 2050 or so.

@dangillmor Our local NPR affiliate, KUT, has been so much better than the national NPR.
@dangillmor I noticed a sharp turn to the right in NPR. As for PBS, they don’t even bother to cover Biden’s prime time speeches.
@dangillmor It's questionable that we'll still have a recognizable nation by 2050, let alone something like public radio.
@dangillmor Did they mention that Hunter Biden was never on our payroll? Did they mention that speaking of Presidents' families, how about a special counsel to investigate the Kushners' eye-popping corruption while WORKING IN THE WHITE HOUSE due to nepotism? You don't have to answer, I know they didn't mention any of that.

@dangillmor
I much prefer #KPFA - #PacificaRadio.

I'm in their broadcast range but they also stream online.
