The great catch up commences...

30 odd teas from China, and a similar number from India/Darjeeling to follow...🤞🥴

Sheesh, 5 hours, 150g of tea...

A dozen Assams as the knock-out punch...phew 🤪

@fourlarks3d @tea I'm seriously impressed over here

@dave_heumann @tea
Gently quivering down here...! 😖

A LOT of tea steeped, not every drop drunk though, sometimes just a taste is enough..

I had to get it done today, before life/procrastination/unruly ducks got in the way once more, and the farmers/suppliers asked yet again how I was going with them...🤷‍♂️

(A quick run through the final four Darjeelings and Assams tmory to confirm my choices, and DONE (for now at least, pending Taiwanese samples notwithstanding...)

@fourlarks3d @tea The closest I've come to this are times when I've drank tea more or less continuously for 4-5 hours in the course of vending. I'd make tea for people and drink some myself, and a few hours later I'd be tea drunk, with all that that entails. But that lacks the kind of specific intent and attention of the sample-palooza you describe. I think it makes it more impressive!

@dave_heumann @tea
Ha ha, yeah that can get pretty hectic huh..?!

Prior to covid I worked 3-4 markets a week, pouring tea "one for you, two for me" and "blah blah blah " for hours can get loopy..🤪

Sample-palooza gets pretty cut-throat fast, two sips, "yeah/nah...maybe" and on to the next guy...

A factory-floor like experience but hardly on the scale of these guys 👇 🤯, animals!!!
