With deep lilac skies and the first hint of starlight overhead, hopefully the photographer brought the bounce light reflector. ::: spoiler Technical Note: It took a bit of convincing to get Stable Diffusion to create beach photos that aren’t “high noon” lighting. Photographically speaking, the term for this type of light is “blue hour,” but adding that to a prompt just makes everything blue. The trick I landed on was to use regional prompting. Create a skinny column that’s 10% of the frame, and set the background there by itself with the help of a low-light lora. Then use the other 90% of the frame for the subject.
