@QasimRashid Yes, but I'm not sure if there is such a huge causality here.
Remember correlation alone does not prove causality.
It might be more related to the fact that living conditions are, overall, that bit better in blue states, and that the marginalized homicide waiting to happen, is treated that little more like a human there?
Just a statistics game. Not saying that everything is better for everyone, but in a sack with 100 balls, n balls are feeling better treated.

(Sorry for that “statistics example at the end of last toot”, but statistics is a bit heartless.)
Just observing that we have much lower gun violence in Europe, even in EU states that have relatively liberal gun laws, but then few EU states have a society that is so “raw and brutal” as US society.
