IHRF#Niger🇳🇪 The International Human Rights Foundation urges the de facto authorities in the Republic of Niger to respect human rights and restore democracy through non-violent mechanisms. Furthermore, the IHRF calls on the former colonial powers and their associated blocs and superpowers, in particular France, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union, to strictly respect the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Niger.
Humanitarian aid must not be subjected to the orders of former colonial powers. In the event of intervention, the peacekeeping role must be entrusted to bodies such as the African Union or the United Nations, without the presence of former colonial powers. #NigerCoup #NigerCrisis #France
