The worst comment on this I've seen is "we should stop building separate bicycle roads until I as a pedestrian no longer get annoyed by speedy bicyclists crowding me in the shared pedestrian+bicycle road".
This was regarding Stockholm city planning by an internet rando with "infrastructure interests".
