It's the last Wednesday night #OUATrevisit with @[email protected] and @smartwatermelon. This week's @OnceABC were season 7, episode 21 and the series finale episode 22. #onceuponatime

#onceuponatime season 7, episode 21 - Homecoming - notes included #OUATrevisit

The start of many familiar faces appearing for just a scene.

Going back to where it started.

Fitting that both Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle get to shine in the series finale.

Dad Hook is really the best version of Hook.

#onceuponatime #OUATrevisit wrap-up:

Even during the bad episodes and plot points and such, I'm glad I did this because I did get to watch the show, and there was a lot I enjoyed about it, with the bonus of sharing banter with friends and reading their brilliant quips.  There were at least two occasions when I'd likely have just stopped watching if I'd been doing this on my own. /1

@cstephens2 I stopped midway through season 4 and wanted to come back. Is it such a drop in quality after that?
@cstephens2 BTW, I stopped at that time because the show was long and I was too busy, not because I was hating it or anything

@falcon It was very uneven at times. I can't remember what specifically was happening in season 4, but there were periodic entire arcs in the later seasons that were clearly "we've run out of ideas but we're still on the air, so let's make excuses for why dead people are on the show again".

Cc'ing @smartwatermelon in case he wants to chime in since he's likely got a better memory of the show overall.

@cstephens2 @falcon like I said in my post, I'm not sorry I watched the whole series this time (I bailed after season five the first time through). Uneven, yes. But some really good character stories here and there throughout six seasons.
And also season seven happened for some reason, which was probably money thrown at the producers.
