Jamie Swedler@TechConnectify I drive from Seattle to BC several times a year, and saw On The Run convenience stores are installing DC fast chargers in BC and AB. They are free* for the introductory period.
*Must have their app** to activate the charger.
**Must be a Canadian resident to sign up for (or even download) the app. Apparently you can ask the attendant to activate the charger, but they're just off my list completely.
I agree that payment is the worst part and a new connector won't fix it.
