@catoutofbed @bitprophet ooh, I did an absurdly recursive version of this a couple years ago, I’ll have to see if I can dig it up!
@joshourisman @catoutofbed @bitprophet Could you please provide alt text?

@matt cc @joshourisman

It's the geordi version of the like/dislike meme template (top left quadrant geordi with flat hand out, top right quadrant with some thing that is disliked, lower left quadrant geordi with pointing and looking, lower right quadrant with some thing that is liked)

The right side of the outer meme contains a drake version on the top and a geordi one on the right, and it's nested with each meme template showing another of itself nested in the 'liked' section and the different meme template in the 'disliked' section.

Around the third level of recursion it starts to get not follow that pattern and have things like a nested template with one geordi and one drake, or a nested template with two pointing geordis. Around the 6th nest it starts just having some white blocks.

@joshourisman

There a rupture in the space-time continuum, right there!

@catoutofbed @bitprophet

@axnxcamr @catoutofbed @bitprophet yeah… I probably should have just written a Python script to generate the image or something…

@joshourisman @catoutofbed @bitprophet

No worries, it's still quite funny like that!

Sorry to have pointed this out again. I saw after posting that it was an old thread, and that other people had spotted it. I was too lazy to delete my reply... as if this answer wasn't more work. Oh well... 😅

@axnxcamr @catoutofbed @bitprophet it’s actually pretty fun to see how many people even notice it. I don’t think I did until after I posted it to Twitter, way back when.
@joshourisman @catoutofbed @bitprophet This is the weirdest mip mapping I've ever seen
@Sacoglossa @catoutofbed @bitprophet I made it with Pixelmator on an iPad mini while bored during lockdown…
@joshourisman @catoutofbed @bitprophet Trying to work out if you could use this as a rotary encoder. Is it actually a Gray code, I wonder? I've not got enough brain left today, but it seems so.

#alt4u

Geordi La Forge's version of #Drakeposting "Hotline Bling" meme is extended a hand to reject Drake's version while pointing to suggest the La Forge version while Drake's version is passing on the La Forge version and suggesting their own version... all the way down fractal style
