Ok, I am watching #SalemsLot - the TV series, not the movie. I’ve heard so much about this, seen it referenced by many horror fans and yet never seen it - so here goes
This is making me want to read Salem’s Lot again. And Needful Things for some reason #SalemsLot
This is more subtle than I expected. Very little dialogue, no explanation so far, just straight into atmosphere and mystery #SalemsLot
Well hang on a minute, in #SalemsLot there’s a character called Cullen Sawyer - is that where Stephanie Meyer got the name from?
Good use of the school pageant to tell the story of the Salem’s Lot rather than exposition #SalemsLot
Hmm, I was assuming Ben Mears, the writer, was the Stephen King reflection character but now I think it’s Mark Petrie, the boy. Then again I think the boys (and perhaps some of the girls) in King’s stories are the best reflection of him and perhaps why he writes teenagers so well #SalemsLot
Ok.
#SalemsLot tv series is genuinely good, some very creepy moments and James Mason is skilfully terrifying without overplaying it.
