It doesnโ€™t erase the browser history on my machine (neither in Firefox nor in Chromium). The best way to avoid having your history recorded locally is to use a private window (in Firefox) or incognito mode (in Chrom(ium|e)).

@serlwch @Chimaera Incognito mode isn't #privacy-respecting. Safest way of browsing is by using #TOR browser
