do you turn on read reciepts in your messagin apps? - Lemmy.world

I dont use read reciepts on WhatsApp. I keep it off. So I cannot see if a person has read my message or the sender of a message cannot see Ihave read their message. Status update views are also hidden. Other messaging apps also have this feature. I personally don’t like it. Do you?
