Technically correct, therefore not false advertising - Lemmy.world

Sold as the Bedford Rascal in the UK, a classic compact van of the early 90’s :)
I really wish I could buy something like that in the US instead of cars with the engine bay taking up a third of its length.
Don’t talk shit on the Miata
Well, five times zero women checks out.
This is gonna be a weird share. In highschool, we had a class where we had to identify hurtful stereotypes pushed by advertisers and we used this ad. Part of the activity was to modify the ad in a way to “fix” it. Since we had no photoshop skills, we added mustaches to the women and changed some text like removing “babe-magnet” and erased “WO” so it’s just “MEN”. It was pretty dumb but we thought it was pretty funny.
I really would like to be able to buy a car like that. Looks fun and practical

I like the new VW minibus, I am also 197cm tall so most cars are too small for me, even the Hyundai I40 I own that by european standards is a big car.

So I reckong I could fit into something like the VW minibus as it’s more vertical + it looks fun with the colors and it’s electric

True. These vans are pretty cheap as well.
Not the same, but similar - I have a Bedford Bambi campervan, it’s ludicrous and slow but all my VW owning friends hang out in the Bambi as it has so much space.
They even have mpv!

Why does everyone forget chainsaws.

Practical, widely available and the most efficient packing solution out there.

I could easily fit two dozen people (chainsaws aren’t inherently sexist btw) into that van with the use of mother nature’s little buddy, the chainsaw.

And a unicycle could pick up more women than me :')
