It’s funny how people who boosted early did it to troll me and the people replying after it’s been boosted a million times somehow think I was trying to get my post boosted 😂
But no, I was actually calling out how boost culture makes it so that I have to scroll through tons of context-less posts and try to make sense of them. It’s very tiring for someone who really just wants to catch up with friends.

Your Autistic Life FR/EN/ES@shantini Someone told me about a setting for turning off all boosts, but I think that was a Firefish thing. Would it be useful for you to have the same thing in Mastodon. I can implement it. Not sure when it is going to be broadly available, however.
