SupraMarioCorrect but someone who is between the ages of 14 to 17 is considered a juvenile, and not a child. This dude was almost 18, in 2 months time, legally he’s an adult, in 2 months time, he isn’t going to magically mature into a less dumb person.
A bar that served alcohol to someone who was two months from their 21st birthday would still get fined for selling to a minor. The law is the law.
