Everyone is talking about how chatGPT etc help students cheat but I haven't heard the possibility raised that it might help teachers cheat. Thinking back to my academic days, if I knew I could write a prompt and point an LLM at a directory full of essays and have it generate grades, comments, and a grades.csv, that would have been... tempting?
@jasonwilson my team produce online learning resources for training and vocational education, but we often receive the written content from TAFE teachers and subject matter experts. While we've had to knock back plenty of plagiarised work in the past, we're now trying to navigate AI created content as well, from the copyright angle but also concerns whether the info is current enough, reliable enough, relevant to specific Australian legislation, standards and best practices, etc. Don't want our Nursing students killing anyone or a fatal accident in a construction site because our info wasn't right.
