@nessotropheion I don't speak ancient greek, but I do speak modern greek... does your username mean "island eater"‽
@orchid It's the word for a duck house (i.e. a place for ducks who are kept as pets or livestock to sleep in). Here's the word info! http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0057%3Aentry%3Dnhssotrofei%3Don&highlight=duck
Henry George Liddell, Robert Scott, A Greek-English Lexicon, νησσοτροφεῖον

@nessotropheion ahh ok! in my mind I was splitting it up into «νησί» ("island") and «τροφή» ("food"), like for example "dog food" is «σκυλοτροφή» (skylotrophē) haha
